Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Duely mobile application for iPhone ("Duely", "the app", or "the service"). Please read them carefully before using Duely.
By downloading, accessing, or using Duely, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. About Duely
Duely is a personal bill-tracking app that helps you organise recurring bills, record payments, view upcoming due dates, and manage related preferences. Duely is provided for personal organisation and informational purposes only.
Duely does not provide financial, tax, accounting, or legal advice. You are solely responsible for your financial decisions, payment obligations, and verification of all information entered into or suggested by the app.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Duely. By using the app, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms, or that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian where required by law.
3. Account registration and security
Duely requires Sign in with Apple to create and access an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Apple ID and for all activity that occurs under your Duely account.
You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
4. Free and Duely Pro plans
Duely offers a free tier and an optional paid subscription called Duely Pro.
Free accounts include core bill-tracking features subject to usage limits, including a limit on the number of bills you can store.
Duely Pro unlocks additional features, which may include:
- Unlimited bills
- Home Screen widgets
- Full statistics and payment trends
- Smart Bill Adding (camera and photo-based bill scanning)
- Bill reminders and notifications
- AI Insights
- Calendar PDF export
Available features may change over time as the app is updated. Feature availability is shown in the app at the time of use.
5. Subscriptions, billing, and renewal
Duely Pro is sold as an auto-renewable subscription through the Apple App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account.
- Subscription length and pricing are displayed in the app before purchase and may vary by region.
- Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the then-current price.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings after purchase.
- Any free trial or promotional offer, if made available, will convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial or promotional period ends.
Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with App Store policies. We do not process App Store refunds directly.
Your use of App Store purchases is also subject to Apple's applicable terms and policies, including the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions where applicable.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of the information and content you enter into Duely. You grant us a limited licence to host, store, process, and display that content solely to provide and improve the service, consistent with our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for ensuring you have the right to submit any content you provide, including bill images.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Duely for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service, other users' accounts, or our systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the service or its security features
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except where permitted by law
- Use the service to transmit malware or harmful code
- Misuse AI-assisted features or submit content you do not have permission to share
8. AI-assisted features
Duely Pro may include features that use automated processing to suggest bill details or generate insights. These features are provided for convenience only.
AI-generated or scanned results may be incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated. You must review and confirm all information before relying on it. We are not responsible for errors arising from suggested or generated content that you choose to accept without verification.
9. Notifications and reminders
Bill reminders depend on your device settings, network connectivity, and notification permissions. We do not guarantee that reminders will be delivered at a particular time or at all. Duely is not responsible for missed payments, late fees, penalties, or other consequences arising from undelivered or ignored reminders.
10. Intellectual property
Duely, including its name, logo, design, software, and related materials, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in Duely except for the limited right to use the app in accordance with these Terms.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Duely is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components, or that data will always be accurate, complete, or preserved without loss.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Duely and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of the service.
Without limiting the foregoing, we are not liable for missed payments, late fees, service interruptions, data loss, or financial losses resulting from your use of or reliance on Duely.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Duely and its operators from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another person or entity.
14. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Duely at any time. You may delete your account from Settings in the app, which removes your associated account data as described in our Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate access to Duely if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, created risk or legal exposure for us, or where required by law. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
15. Changes to the service or Terms
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of Duely at any time. We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of Duely after updated Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your place of residence or the jurisdiction in which we operate, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer that cannot be waived or limited by contract.
